From 9 and half years in the army Seb decided it was time to make a few changes. On leaving in Oct 2008 Seb found it very difficult to make the transfer into civilian life.
He moved from role to role for about a year not really enjoying what he was doing and settled to make custard in deepest darkest Devon to gain a little stability. after clearing the decks he moved to Manchester and found a role at TC World. The criteria based promotion with No seniority was exactly what the doctor ordered.
In a performance environment we have seen Seb thrive really taking ownership on the Nottingham location driving the Home Efficiency division. The success in nottingham was recognised by the division in April with Seb being invited to spend 10 days in Australia looking at some of the products he has since tested here in the UK.
"This was an amazing experience which really opened my eyes to the shear magnitude of the Business"
Seb is always a willing volenteer and has used his forsight to really spearhead some of the products we sell today.
" I have a very high personal ambision level which is widely recognised. We have a constant drive in trying to improve the business by removing any inefficiencies. We have been involved in a number of product tests putting us in the heart of the development of the Home efficiency division which a testiment to the people we train here in the Nottingham office and the high standards we expect of ourselves"
Over the coming years I will endevor to offer everyone the same opportunity which has been given to me. I truly believe hard work and a great attitude can take you anywhere in the world. We are looking to expand this location over to hold 2-3 more offices with the scope to then expand into another city by next year.
My personal future lies in the states with the international expansion pencilled in for the back end of next year.
Dale joined in 2012 with no experience in sales and marketing. His previous career was in retail with Ted Baker working as a sales assistant. During his time there he was heavily involved in the formal wear section of the business and responsible for training people up in all aspects of formal wear.
"The reason I left Ted Baker was because I wasn't progressing in my career as quickly as I wanted. So when I first started at Tc World I had 2 things I wanted to achieve:
- 1) MAKE AS MUCH MONEY AS I COULD
- 2) MANAGE MY OWN COMPANY
I started with Tc World in June 2012 and achieved my promotion to managing director of TC WORLD #8, 8 months later in Feb 2013.
In April 2013 I was given the opportunity to head up the sports division for the East Midlands and I am now based in Nottingham.
I can honestly say that I am at the most exciting part of my life right now and it's all down to taking hold of the opportunity I was given.
My future goals are to promote SEVERAL OFFICES IN THE UK AND EXPAND the sports division into Canada AND America. "
I had come out of my BA Course at university and had no idea what I wanted to do with my career, I was working part time at Greggs the bakers and was came into the company as a field rep, I was completely shocked when offered the opportunity to be the administrator for the Nottingham location and grabbed the chance with both hands, I have now been in the company for a year and have been able to try all different things whilst being here. I have happily settled into the role of location administrator and am lucky enough to work alongside two extremely ambitious Owners. I don’t dread the idea of work, I love that everyday is different and that there are new challenges. What started off as “just a job” has now become a career in which I am determined to make a success of.
My goals in the company are to get better and better at what I am doing and to help the guys in the office hit their goals, I would alsolove to be able to train up new administrators as the organisation grows and grows.
